About the Award

The High School Renaissance Award rewards students who engage deeply with Renaissance history, art and ideas — and opens the door to approximately one month in Italy, with expenses covered, for outstanding participants.
Who Can Participate?
- High-school students at participating schools.
- Students learn about the Renaissance through their schools' participation in the program.
- The competition is designed to be accessible to students from all backgrounds — particularly students from underserved communities.
How It Works

Register
Students register through their participating school.
- 02
Prepare
Students study the provided readings and materials on Renaissance history, art and culture.

Complete the Competition
Students complete the required educational assessment or competition.

Selection
Outstanding students are selected for the Renaissance experience.

Italy Experience
Winners travel to Italy for approximately one month, with expenses covered, to study Renaissance art, culture and history.
